Oh yes this poor poor 14 yr old girl who was not properly educated on the risk of having unprotected sex, are you people kidding me?!?! There is no, absoultely NO justification for what she did to that baby! Why does it seem there is more pitty for this girl than the baby she outright murdered?!?! These were her decisions and hers alone, she is the one who decided to conceal her pregnancy and she is the one who decided to try and flush her baby down the toilet. What's wrong with society isn't that we need a more extensive sex ed. in schools but that we try and justify acts of blatant violence, that people just want to give her a slap on a wrist and send her to counceling. It's because of people like you that this happened, does anyone know about the wonderbread baby?? Fortunately he survived but only a couple weeks after that incident social services held a meeting where they were deciding on sending him home with that same mother who stuffed him in a wonderbread bag and tried to flush him down a toilet. It's not adults and sex ed who has failed it s the system who has, the system who has failed these precious innocent angels to give them the justice they deserve. This just sickens me and my heart aches

That a 16 year old girl put in a bread bag and tried to flush, a 16 year old that had mental illness.

That baby should not have gone home with the mother at that stage, of course not, that is ridiculous..But where are the babies grandparents ?
This is where the baby needed to go..(if they were suitable)

It has nothing to do with you and that poster was ridiculous to even suggest so. Here in the states, and especially down there on the southern end, I can bet you that there was very little support and true education offered to girls her age about sex and pregnancy and what to expect. WE - those here in the states who don't fight harder and louder for more education and support - are the ones who failed that girl and because of that she failed her child. So many here still believe that talking about sex with our children, encourages them to be sexually active so we instead want to tell them to practice abstinence, to wait until they are married and to nrestrict any kind of contraception being given to them. But we aren't preventing them from not having sex by not educating them. We are instead, enabling these kind of horror stories to happen.
