Peace Day 2008
We All Need a little Peace in our Lives, but we ALL need PEACE Around the Globe
Wishing you Peace from my little corner of the Globe
And may we someday see what we all want in the end - World Peace
No More Fighting
No More Tears
No More Heartbreak
No Crosses to Bear
Put down your Arms
Bring Back Calm
We can Do it
Without Any Fear

Even though its not the 4th June in other places of the world, it is here in my Country Australia and others...I asked Mimi about posting now and she said yep go for it..So any other Aussies out there waiting *don't* - Just get going and start posting :)
As a side note I want to dedicate my Peace Globe to a beautiful young just turned 25 year old Blogger Julia from Julia's Jam. Julie sadly Passed away on the 31st May 08 from Leukemia, although I did not know her personally, she touched a chord in my heart and now she is gone, and we all mourn her loss...She was an adoptee who did not have her inherent right to her Original Birth Certificate, she died waiting for a viable Bone marrow Transplant. If she had of had the opportunity to find her relatives she would have stood a good chance of having a good match, and Julia at just 25 yrs of age might have still been with us today..
So please don't oppose adoptees rights to their original birth records..Start Peace with not fighting that issue....
And For Julia may she Rest In Peace xxx

Mine is up too :-)
Hello from Norway - peace to you and the one you love!
What a sad story. Peace to you and yours. :)
Hi Jane,
I'am so sorry to read this story :(
It was sweet of you to dedicate your Peace Globe to this lady.
Blessing of Peace to you and everyone who comes through this blog.
So many people touch our lives in so many different ways. I'm sorry to hear of this sadness in your life.
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Ps. 34:14
Peace to you and may your friend rest in peace.
How wonderful to post for peace in Julie's name. I didn't realize that such blocks would be in effect during a life threatening situation like that.
Peace to you and yours.
This is such a sad story and you are very kind to honor Julia this way. May she rest in peace.
Mimi
How very sad. I wish peace to you and those you hold dear to your heart.
